I had a file that was more complicated than most. Business owner with multiple LLCs etc. Stephen took the time to do a deep dive into the file and was persistent with underwriting to make sure the process was as painless as possible. This file certainly took more time that a clean file and I know for sure that most other lenders would have given up several times, instead Stephen continued to assure me we would get there in the end, and we did. Hands down the best lender I have ever worked with.

My realtor referred a lender to me who ended up being a nightmare. 3 weeks into the escrow process and this lender had done absolutely NOTHING. No appraisal ordered. She hadn't even sent me this universal loan application to sign. I was SO stressed and so worried that this deal would fall through. After more than a week of no communication, I decided I had to find another lender. I stumbled across Stephen and I am SO glad that I did! I told him my situation with the other lender and that the closing date was quickly approaching. He talked me off the ledge and was ON it with my loan! I immediately felt at ease with him. He was excellent with communicating and letting me know where things stood during the entire process. This was so important to me, especially because the other lender had been so horrible communicating with me. Stephen got more done in the first day of the loan process with me than the other lender did in 3 weeks! . Additionally, the closing attorney my realtor referred me to delayed the closing and Stephen and his team had to change all of the paperwork last minute for the loan, but they got it done and handled the situation perfectly. They are excellent at handling bumps in the road and he made sure that I closed before the end of the month. I would absolutely recommend Steve and I will definitely use him as my lender going forward! Thank you Stephen for saving the deal!

Stephen Thomas Roe with AnnieMac home mortgage was incredible! I have a tendancy to stress and he walked me through the process with care and ease! He was patient and answered EVERY question without hesitation. We experienced a bump in the road with my out of state bank that caused me to fresk out a little bit, but Stephen was calm and let me know everything would be fine. Steve was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly during a somewhat complicated process involving selling and closing two properties with an out of state purchaser buying in an attorney state (SC). Even with a 3 hour time difference and the VA hoops to jump through Steve was able to stay on top of things and keep us informed of what was needed along the way.
